Boating + Water Sports 

The shores of the South Shuswap are home to three amazing marinas (FINZ resortBayside Marina and Shuswap Marina) where you can rent boats, jet skis and other water sports equipment, launch or moor your boat, grab a tasty bite to eat or do a bit of summer shopping.

If you’re after some exhilarating thrills this summer, then we highly suggest you head out onto Shuswap Lake by boat. No matter if you’re cruising the vast shoreline (over 1000 km!), hanging out at Copper Island, or wakeboarding, you’ll be sure to feel the sun on your skin and the lake breeze in your hair.

Paddling

If exploring the lake by motor isn’t your thing then grab a kayak, canoe or paddle board and get ready to zen out. Blind Bay is a popular part of the lake to slowly cruise the shoreline, especially in the morning and at sunset.
